Co-Owner & Coach: Deneka Deletetsky Deneka Deletetsky is the co-owner of Fortier Family Cheer Center. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1996. She attended Troy State University in Alabama, where she graduated from in 2000 with a double BS degree in Broadcast Journalism & Public Relations. She is an NCA Certified coach, safety, first aid, & CPR certified. In addition, she is certified by the American Sports Education Program, as well as the American All-Star Program. She is a 2-time recipient of the Auburn/Lewiston Sports Hall of Fame President's Award (2003 & 2004), back to back Class A Maine State Title holder, and was selected the 2004 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference "Coach of the Year." Currently, Deneka coaches Planet Cheer Youth and Junior teams as well as Intermediate and Excel tumbling classes. Co-Owner & Coach: Tiffany LeBrun Tiffany LeBrun is the co-owner of Fortier Family Cheer Center. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1998. She is a 2002 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Hofstra University located in Long Island, New York. While attending Hofstra, she was a member of the Lady Dutch Cheerleading team and competed nationally. She is an NCA Certified coach, safety, first aid & CPR certified. In addition, she is certified by the American Sports Education Program, as well as the American All-Star Program. She is recipient of 3 Class B Maine State Regional titles as well as a Class B Maine State Title holder as a coach. She currently coaches Planet Cheer Youth and Junior teams. Professional and Qualified Staff Tumbling Coordinator/Cheer Coach: Matt Hanley Matt instructs Beginner, Intermediate , Excel and Advanced tumbling classes, specializing in teaching youngsters proper technique and body control. He is an amazing gymnast, trained at Mainely Gymnastics in Augusta. He is a Tri-State Champion gymnast and has been recognized throughout New England. Matt is continuing to improve his own skills, currently working to get a full twisting double back tuck and triple full...yeah, we said it. Matt is CPR certified, First Aid certified, and is a Certified Nurses Assistant. He currently coaches the Planet Cheer Astros Senior squad and cheers for the Planet Cheer Open Team. Tumbling Instructor/Cheer Coach: Amanda Scripture Amanda currently coaches Beginner and Intermediate tumbling. Amanda began her gymnastics career 13 years ago when she began competing at the age of 7. She is a Level 10 gymnast, trained by Don White at Andy Valley Gymnastics. She is a 5-time Maine State All Around Gymnastics Champion and a 3-time Regional competitor. While at Planet Cheer, Amanda earned the 2004 American Cheer & Dance Best Individual Cheerleader title. Amanda currently coaches the varsity squad at Poland Regional High School where they qualified for States her very first season. Amanda continues to improve her skills at the gym where she is working to get her kick double and triple full. Amanda is certified by the American Sports Education Program and currently coaches the Planet Cheer Astros Senior squad and cheers for the Planet Cheer Open Team. Choreographer/Clinic Coach: Tamiko O'Connell Tamiko is an original member of Planet Cheer where she learned under Coaches Deneka & Tiffany. She is a 2006 graduate of St. Dominic's High School, where she was captain of her 2005 & 2006 competition squads, and is a NCA All-American cheerleader. She holds 3 State Class C Championships and numerous titles with Planet Cheer, including 4 Grand Champion titles. Tamiko's positive attitude and amazing work ethic makes her a wonderful addition to the FFCC team. |
