JUNE SCHEDULE Elite Stunt Clinic June 11, 6:00-8:00 June 25, 6:00-8:00 NEW this summer, introducing the Elite Stunt Clinic designed for the most advanced stunters. Participants will focus on Level 5 stunting skills including one legged double downs, kick double tosses, full-ups, advanced transitional stunting, inversions and pyramids. This is open to both bases and flyers, all-stars and high school alike! Those cheerleaders interested in trying out for the Planet Cheer International Open Level 5 team next season is highly encouraged to take this clinic! There will be two one-day clinics offered. Cost: $25 per class, or $40 for both JULY SCHEDULE Liberty Festival Summer Team Performance Practice: July 1 & July 3, 6:00-8:00 Performance: July 4th, Liberty Festival in Lewiston Want a chance to cheer this summer? The Planet Cheer Summer Team is the perfect opportunity to keep your skills tight all summer! Plus, it's fun! This is open to cheerleaders ALL ages and skill levels. Cost is $25 per performance. There is a uniform requirement for all participants including skort, tank and bow. The same uniform will be used for all performances. BONUS! If you are a registered 2009 Planet Cheer All-Star, all of the summer performances are FREE! A savings of at least $75! Flyer's Clinic July 7th-July 30th, Mondays & Wednesday evenings Beginner/Intermediate: 5:30-6:30 Excel: 6:30-7:30 Advanced: 7:30-8:30 *See below for skill level definitions Back by popular demand and NEW AND IMPROVED! Flyer's Clinic is designed for new to experienced flyers who want to advance their skills this summer. This is an intense 4-week session of 8 classes where flyers will learn confidence, increase flexibility, conditioning techniques and stunt in a safe, professional environment. The first two weeks is focused on flexibility and confidence excercises using the lastest techniques in training flyers. The last two weeks is focused purely on stunting on experienced bases and learning new skills. Cost: $100 for 8 classes *Flyer's Clinic Skill Level Definitions: Beginner/Intermediate: Flyers will focus on stunting at prep level. Flyers will learn/perfect cradling, one-legged stunting, intro to basket tosses, transitional stunting at prep level working up to single twist cradles from prep level. Excel: Flyers will focus on stunting at the extended level. Flyers will learn/perfect twist cradles from one leg, form in basket tosses, transitional stunting at the extended level working up to double twist cradles from prep level. Advanced: Flyers will focus on advanced stunting at the extended level. Flyers who take this level should be comfortable single twisting from an extended one-legged stunt. Flyers will learn/perfect double twisting from one leg, advanced transitional stunting with inversions, and twisting basket tosses including kick doubles. Coaches Clinic Saturday, July 26th, 10:00-2:00 Calling all coaches! FFCC encourages coaches to get active! New this summer, we are offering a one day coaches clinic focusing on instructional classes in motion technique, formations, stunt progression, team building, choreography, music choice, playing the scoresheet and so much more! We encourage coaches to actively participate in all classes to provide a "hands on" experience. Clinic Cost includes: Lunch FFCC Coaches Manual FREE Try-Out DVD Special Gift First Aid Certification Option Clinic Cost: Only $50! 2-Day Cheering Camp with New England Cheerleaders Association Date TBA, will be in July This is an Open Cheer Camp for Junior High & below cheerleaders! The staff from New England Cheerleaders Association will be coming to Planet Cheer to teach campers the latest in stunting techniques, dance and cheer! AUGUST SCHEDULE Balloon Festival Summer Team Performance Practice: August 12th, 14th, 15th, 6:00-8:00 Performance: August 16th, Balloon Festival in Lewiston The Balloon Festival performance is the last of three Planet Cheer Summer Team performances. This is open to cheerleaders of all ages and skill levels. Cheerleaders will learn a mini-routine including dance, cheer, tumbling, stunts & pyramids! Cost is $25 per performance. There is a uniform requirement for all participants including skort, tank and bow. The same uniform will be used for all performances. BONUS!
